Description

ThisĀ  Mocha Chis Seed Pudding is a quick and easy make-ahead breakfast that will nourish your body and leave you feeling fuller and more satisfied than a starchy breakfast!


Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons (heaping) Cacao or Cocoa powder
  • 2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • pinch of salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened non-dairy milk
  • 1/4 cup cold coffee – can use decaf if you prefer
  • (Use 3/4 cup non-dairy milk if you decide to omit the coffee)

Toppings (optional):

  • Cacao Nibs
  • Raspberries
  • Bananas
  • Strawberries

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. Stir or whisk to remove any lumps.
  2. Add the wet ingredients and stir to combine.
  3. Pour into one large container (like a mason jar) or two small ones that have a lid on them and put in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. The next morning – grab your coffee and breakfast all in one and enjoy the extra time you have by mindfully enjoying your breakfast!
